The Bhartiya Janata Party has swept the Gujarat bypolls. Adding another feather to Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, the victory has cleared many hurdles in his way. A crucial national executive meeting of the BJP will be held three days later.
After by-election results Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar suffered a blow in his state while Congress drew almost blank in four states.

Like Modi, the victory has tonned up the voice of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. The RJD chief has been trying to convey his message to Congress for 2014:

“If I win, Congress wins. It’s one and the same.”
– Lalu Prasad Yadav, RJD Chief

He also mocked at Nitish Kumar:

“It is clear now that Mr. Modi is the PM. So what is Mr. Kumar going to do?”
– Lalu Prasad Yadav, RJD Chief
